The Stewart R. Wallace Memorial Library

The Stewart R. Wallace Memorial Library is a publicly available resource dedicated to serving the information needs of engineers, geologists, metallurgists, students, and researchers in the minerals industry.

The library’s collection encompasses extractive metallurgy, tunneling and underground construction, mining engineering, plant design, and more. The library also provides onsite access to the OneMine.org database, a comprehensive collection of technical papers, conference papers and articles from participating societies around the world.

The library is located in SME’s headquarters at 12999 E. Adam Aircraft Circle, Englewood, Colorado. It is open to the public Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 4 pm.


Research:

Visitors are encouraged to peruse the shelves, research within the Stewart R. Wallace Memorial Library, and ask questions of library staff during open hours. The collection does not circulate.
