Whether you are a student, new to the industry, a mid-career to long-term industry professional, or retired and still interested in supporting the industry, UCA offers a membership to help you achieve your goals! UCA membership terms are based on a calendar year.
UCA Professional Member
For leaders or professionals active in the tunneling and underground construction industry.
Membership fee: $169 per year plus a one-time $20 membership processing fee.

Student Member
For full-time students in good standing at their accredited college or university.
Membership fee: $35 per year.

Registered Member
For scientists, engineers or technologists who are involved in various ways with the discovery, extraction and utilization of minerals, metals and energy sources. Registered members must apply for membership, have their application and supporting documentation reviewed by the committee, and be approved for membership. Membership fee: $295 per year plus a one-time $20 membership processing fee.
JoinAssociate Member
For industry professionals age 30 or under who were student members of UCA. UCA student members are automatically upgraded to associate members upon graduation from an accredited college or university. Associate membership is free for the first year after graduation, after which the membership fee is one-half of the annual professional membership fees until age 30.
Senior/Retired Member
Senior/retired members must be 70+ years of age, have been a UCA member for 30+ years, and be completely retired from the underground construction industry. To apply for senior/retired membership, please email membership@ucaofsmenet.org to confirm that you meet the criteria.
Membership fee: one half of the annual professional membership fees.
