Dr. Eric Lutz, the current associate director of the University of Arizona’s School of Mining and Mineral Resources, explains how the safety of miners is paramount to their ability to make life possible for all via their essential work. He also discusses his experience leading SME’s Certified Mine Safety Professional (CMSP) Review Course and what’s required to attain this critical benchmark that all mining safety professionals should strive towards.

Image cropping is allowed and any aspect ratio is permitted. Photos may be enhanced or altered to remove spots, changing exposure, sharpening, changing contrast and adjusting the color to be more natural.
